The Wallace Group

Elevate™

What if every leader you have mentored could mentor ten more leaders, and those leaders could mentor ten more leaders, across nations and generations?

You would leave a lasting legacy.

An ongoing mentoring relationship with Greg and Linda Wallace. Not a seminar, not a course — a continuing relationship, for pastors and nonprofit leaders building something that lasts longer than they do.

The first conversation is free and carries no obligation.

The Commitment

A healthy organization

The Wallace Group was founded in 2015 on one mission statement — to build healthy organizations; to create sustainable results we both care about.” The Wallace Group has held that same commitment for more than ten years.

A healthy organization was defined as one that consistently meets its definition of success by utilizing skills and behaviors of which it is proud.

Note what that does not say. Not our definition of success — yours. Elevate™ exists to get your ministry there and keep it there, working in the three areas The Wallace Group has worked in from the beginning.

  • Purpose
  • Focus
  • Alignment

Why a relationship

You have already been to the conference

Dr. Greg has spent years arguing, in print, that the way leaders are usually developed does not work. Elevate™ is what he proposes instead.

  1. 01

    The spending isn’t producing leaders

We spend an estimated $24 billion a year on leadership development but leadership experts from Harvard to Stanford question whether this extraordinary expenditure is producing better leaders.
Billions with a B, B as in Bad!
  2. 02

Because it is delivered to everyone at once

Leadership training is rolled out simultaneously to groups of leaders at a time. As if the needs of each leader were the same; as if the challenges faced by each leader were the same; as if the solutions for each leader were the same.
Billions with a B, B as in Bad!
  3. 03

And it teaches you to lead like someone else

Great minds might think alike but great leaders do not. … If the leaders and trailblazers I cited earlier created their own path to greatness, why are we so insistent on following the trails blazed by others?
    Great Leaders Think Unlike
  4. 04

What actually works takes time and relationship

People follow only leaders they trust, they trust only leaders they know. … Take the time to earn trust. And it will take time. Be patient.
How can I follow you if I don’t know you?

To get something we’ve never gotten, we do something we’ve never done. In leadership training, that something we’ve never done is to help people develop their own model of leadership, a model of leadership that flows out of their own identity.

What it covers

Five pillars, in your sequence

The relationship is built on the five pillars Dr. Greg’s work rests on. Which of them you spend time in is set by where your ministry actually is, not by a fixed syllabus.

  1. 01

    The Blueprint of Heaven

A three-step framework for cultivating Kingdom-minded people who can influence culture wherever they live, work, serve, and play.

  2. 02

    Apostolic Leadership Development

More than leading people — equipping leaders to shape values, influence behaviors, and transform environments.

  3. 03

    Kingdom Culture

The deeper work beneath fixing broken systems: the shared values, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that shape an environment.

  4. 04

    Apostolic Governance

The shift many pastors have not yet made: from pastoral administration to apostolic governance.

  5. 05

    Transformation

Change management expertise for leaders transforming ministries — and a social transformation framework for those called to transform society.

  6. Where the work lands is decided with you — see all five pillars in full.

How the work is shaped

Leadership
Apostolic leadership is about more than influencing people to good outcomes, it is about establishing Kingdom culture. Dr. Greg equips leaders with the skills to increase the display of Christ-centered values and principles in their environments.
Governance
Dr. Greg’s governance and management experience spans the full range of organizational scale — from leading a culture change initiative for a 2,500-employee division of a Fortune 500 company, to serving as an apostolic administrator in one of the world’s most visible apostolic ministries, to leading an international relational community of Kingdom-minded leaders.
Culture Change
Dr. Greg partners with leaders to help them navigate the journey from where their ministry is now to where God has called it to be. His unique combination of attributes overcomes the difficulties inherent in making substantial change.

How it works

Three steps to the first conversation

  1. 01

You tell us where you are

The form below asks what you lead, what you are trying to move, and which of the five pillars you think you are standing in. Ten minutes, no account required.

  2. 02

    A conversation, not a pitch

Someone from The Wallace Group follows up directly to arrange a first conversation with Greg, with Linda, or with both — whichever fits what you described.

  3. 03

You decide together what this looks like

Rhythm, focus, term, and fee are agreed in that conversation, against your definition of success rather than a package.

Investment

Every mentoring relationship is scoped to the leader and the organization, so the terms are set together on the first conversation — including rhythm, term, and fee. That conversation costs nothing and carries no obligation.

Before you ask

Fair questions

Is this coaching, consulting, or discipleship?
The approved description of The Wallace Group’s work is “mentoring, discipleship, and leadership development.” In practice a relationship draws on all three: Dr. Greg is engaged as a consultant and trainer as well as a mentor, and Linda is a certified leadership coach. What it is not is a course you complete.
Why a relationship instead of a course?
Because the argument against courses is Dr. Greg’s own, made in print over several years: leadership training rolled out to groups at a time treats every leader’s needs, challenges, and solutions as identical. If you would rather start with a course, the Academy runs the Implementing the Blueprint of Heaven Master Class as a six-week cohort.
Do I work with Greg or with Linda?
Either, or both. Their approved focus areas are different and complementary — Dr. Greg on apostolic leadership, governance, and organizational change; Linda on leading from identity, wholeness, and sustained clarity. Say what you are reaching for and the first conversation sorts out who you should be sitting with.
What do I get that I could not get for free?
The frameworks themselves are already free — the Leadership Profile, the change tool, the culture tool, and the Social Transformation Framework are published in full in the Library, and you should read them before deciding. What a relationship adds is the two of them applying those frameworks to your ministry, in your sequence, over enough time to earn the trust the work actually requires.
What does it cost?
Terms are set on the first conversation, scoped to the leader and the organization. That conversation is free and carries no obligation.
